<< EXTREME WEATHER >>

We fully anticipate that the Surgery will continue to operate as normal during most spells of extreme weather.  However, when conditions are particularly bad, please leave plenty of time for your journey and take care on roads. Take special care when walking on icy surfaces.

What to do if bad weather prevents Doctors and Staff reaching the Surgery:

  • If weather conditions become very bad, it is best to check that the surgery is open before setting out to try to keep an appointment, by calling 01279 814730.
  • If the surgery is closed and you have an urgent condition you should telephone NHS Direct for health advice on 0845 4647.

  • If you believe your condition to be life threatening, telephone 999.

Thank you.

HOME VISITS AND SMOKING AT HOME

The Practice takes its responsibility for maintaining the health of its healthcare professionals very seriously.  We would therefore advise that when a patient requests a home visit, all members of the household are asked to refrain from smoking until the Doctor has completed his/her examination and has left the patient's home.

Your cooperation is appreciated.

Thank you.
